Running up the Wonky Cake
We delivered this three tier cake to Taro Restaurant in Montclair NJ for a wine connoisseur and Marathon runner's 50th birthday party. A wonky French vanilla cake with orange chocolate cream filling and covered in dark chocolate fondant, with violet and green stripes. The tier separators were decorated with green stephanotis flowers and the base tier was encircled by glittering purple pearls.

Victoria had bead making party and wanted a colorful two tier cake, most important of all with a BIG V with hanging beads! This is a chocolate fudge cake with oreo chocolate filling, covered in ivory fondant and fun multi-colored polka dots.

We were asked to create two bongo drums for a musical 60th birthday party. One drum had red velvet cake with cream cheese filling and the other was a combination of vanilla and chocolate cake with vanilla bean buttercream filling. We also placed two maracas on the cake board to accompany the drums!
Cushion Cake Fit for a Queen
I was really pleased how this specialty cake turned out for a birthday party in Springfield NJ. The cake had alternating layers of vanilla and chocolate fudge cake with chocolate raspberry cream filling. A beige fondant is wrapped around the cushion shaped cake, it also has ivory diamond fondant cut-outs that are each joined with a blue jewel. Three bows top the cake and each has a matching gem.
Puff the Magic Dragon Cake
For a birthday party in the amazing Times Square Toys R Us store what better than a Puff the Magic Dragon 3-D Cake? Puff was made with layers of chocolate fudge cake and Oreo cream filling. The dragon is lying by the sea with his friend the birthday boy as Jackie Paper sitting beside him on the sand.
Blue and White Jungle Animals Cake
This beautiful first birthday cake was delivered to McCloone's Pier House in Long Branch NJ. The two tiers with blue fondant stripes and polka dots are pure white vanilla cake with dulce de leche cream filling, and the cupcakes are vanilla with a vanilla swirl, tinted light blue to match the cake. Jungle animals sitting on the cake are handmade from fondant, and matching animal faces top each cupcake.
Sleepy skies moon and stars cake
For a sleep over movie night party in South Orange NJ I designed this round three tier cake with the birthday girl sitting on a moon. One tier was vanilla cake, the others had mixed layers of red velvet and chocolate fudge cake, and all with raspberry chocolate filling. The varying shades of blue fondant take the cake from day to night, and starting with piped clouds rising to the fondant stars and shooting stars.
Buzz Lightyear Birthday Cake
For a 5th birthday party at Unbelieva-Bills in Montclair NJ I was asked to create this Buzz Lightyear cake. Both tiers are yellow cake with chocolate buttercream, covered in white and blue fondant. The cake is decorated with stars, planets, a rocket ship and some characters from Toy Story (including Mr. Potato Head, an alien, pig and Woody's Cowboy hat). Buzz Lightyear stands on top of the cake ready to soar to the stars!
Red Carpet Star Birthday Cake
A red carpet theme cake for a fabulous birthday party at the Crowne Plaza hotel. The yellow cake is filled with layers of strawberry buttercream and banana cream filling. Each of the three tiers is cut away towards the bottom. A red fondant carpet rises over the cake, which is also decorated with black and red stripes and shooting stars. A red fondant rope cordon holds back the crowds, anxious to devour the cake!
Cole Haan Shoe Cake
I have been wanting to make a shoe cake for months. This Cole Haan shoe made of fondant sits on top of a chocolate fondant shoe box with red velvet cake and vanilla bean buttercream. The shoe had hand-painted gold accents and sugar pearls. The shoe cake was for a birthday party in Union NJ.
Jungle Animals and Waterfall Cake
A jungle theme first birthday cake for a really cute kid at his party in Milltown NJ. The two tiers of red velvet cake and layers of cream cheese filling are covered in a light green fondant. A waterfall flows down the cake, which is decorated with bushes, a palm tree and jungle animals (lion, elephant, monkey, giraffe and a snake). We also made matching chocolate fudge cupcakes with French Vanilla frosting and little animal faces.
Cookie Monster Buttercream Cake
A very Happy Birthday party at the 4705 Center Boulevard Club in Long Island City NY was brightened by this smiling Cookie Monster cake. Layers of red velvet cake and dulce de leche filling are covered in piped blue buttercream. The cookie monster is holding onto a pot full of fondant chocolate chip cookies.

One of our Facebook fans wanted a Groom's cake to celebrate her engagement. We made a black iPod cake with a personalised screen message for the couple's celebration in Piscataway NJ. The red velvet cake had a cream cheese buttercream filling, it was covered in black and silver fondant on a white base, and included headphones with volume control. Batteries not included!

We delivered a herd of elephants partying around a birthday cake to South Orange NJ. This three tiered cake has red velvert with white chocolate buttercream, vanilla cake with chocolate raspberry filling and a top tier with banana cake and dulce de leche cream filling. The cake is covered in light blue fondant and decorated with blue stripes, assorted balloons and then each elephant holds a red balloon on a string.
Blue and Green Jungle Animal First Birthday Cake
We made this two-tier jungle animal theme cake for a first birthday party in Lodi NJ. Layers of yellow cake with chocolate cream filling are covered in a light blue fondant. The cake is decorated in green stripes and leaves, with wild animals (elephant, giraffe and lions) on top.

A Thomas the Tank Engine 3-D cake ordered for a birthday party in Summit NJ. The lemon cake has white chocolate cream filling with more grated white Callebaut chocolate between each layer. The outside of the cake is modeled out of fondant to match Thomas' color scheme.
New Yankee Stadium Retirement Cake
The honoree of a retirement party at the Imperia on Easton in Somerset NJ was a New York Yankees fan, so nothing less than a cake replica of the New Yankee Stadium was a fitting celebration of his long service. The almond pound cake has a chocolate raspberry filling. The cake is carved to scale, it includes advertising with a batting Derek Jeter on the main screen. The stadium is full with fondant Yankee fans.

A Burberry Handbag Cake sculpted for a Bridal Shower at the Empire Club in Little Ferry NJ. The vanilla cake has layers of dulce de leche buttercream and is covered in fondant with the Burberry pattern.
The Music Man Cake
OLS School in South Orange NJ put on a fabulous version of the Music Man. The organizers ordered a special surprise to celebrate their musical performance. This three tier vanilla cake has chocolate buttercream filling. The white base, red hat and blue fondant drum are also decorated with a brass trumpet, a drum stick, piped musical notes, and gold uniform braiding.
True Religion Blue Jeans Cake
A fan of True Religion jeans wanted a pair for a birthday gift. I made a chocolate fudge cake with chocolate ganache, a perfect chocoholic combination. Blue fondant covers the cake and I applied distressing and a stone wash effect to the jeans cake, which was destined for a party in South Orange NJ.

Mardi Gras Mask Cake
For a 30th birthday I was asked to create a Mardi Gras theme cake. The bottom tier is vanilla cake with dark chocolate ganache and the top tier is chocolate fudge cake with a white chocolate ganache. The tiers are covered in light blue and purple fondant with stripes and pearls around the base. A string of gold colored beads adorns the cake as well as shooting stars, fondant twists and beads on wire. The mardi gras mask is made of sugar paste, decorated with leaves and then is hand painted with gold accents. We delivered the cake to the Forum Lounge near Union Square in Manhattan NYC.

Elmo Birthday Cake
One of our customers wanted a special cake to take to a first birthday party in Virginia. Inside there is Cranberry Pound Cake with Chocolate Orange filling. Elmo is bursting out of a small blue drum cake. I piped his fur with red royal icing. The bottom cake tier is covered in green fondant and decorated with musical notes, and not forgetting Elmo's goldfish and crayons!
Steinway Grand Piano Groom's Cake
Our bride wanted to surprise the groom at their wedding reception with a special cake that matched his passion for music. I created this Steinway Grand Piano cake, with a figurine of the groom sculpted from fondant. Inside is pure white vanilla cake with dulce de leche cream filling.
EZ-Go Golf Cart Cake
Our customer lives in Warren NJ but she wanted a specialty cake to celebrate her husband's 70th birthday party. They also have a home in Arizona and are golf fanatics, so we crafted a golf cart cake based on their E-Z-GO buggy. We made an orange cake with orange curd filling covered in an ivory fondant. A set of red and black golf clubs are on the back of the cart, which also has NJ and AZ licence plates!
Rocky Boxing Ring Groom's Cake
This boxing ring groom's cake was designed for a Rocky fanatic. The vanilla cake has a cannoli filling and is covered in black and yellow fondant. An Italian stallion logo is in the middle of the ring, a black boxing robe with the same emblem is in the champion's corner.
Seinfeld Groom's Cake
A fan of Seinfeld received this surprise three tier Groom's cake for a wedding rehearsal dinner at the NJ Hanover Marriott hotel. The bottom tier is pure white vanilla cake with chocolate orange filling, while the top tier has dulce de leche cream filling. The middle tier is chocolate fudge cake with chocolate raspberry filling. Fondant figurines of each main character and many iconic items from the show decorate the cake.

Who dosn't love a cupcake? We made a giant cupcake with red velvet cake and cream cheese filling for the adults. For the kids we made a choice of vanilla or almond chocolate cupcakes, all covered with a swirl of vanilla buttercream and fondant flower decorations to match the big one!

We created a two tier black and white cake for a bridal shower in Randolph NJ. Chocolate cake with Oreo Cream filling is the perennial favorite of this customer. One tier is embossed with a damask design and the second tier is piped in Cornelli Lace. The two gift boxes are stacked, tied with a black fondant ribbon and topped with a display of black and white bows.
Roulette Wheel Cake
Faites vos jeux, rien ne va plus! This Roulette wheel and table cake was made for a 50th birthday party in Bloomfield NJ. The wheel was chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling, while the table was vanilla cake and covered in a green baize color fondant. The white ball landed on the birthday star's lucky number 17, we also placed a pile of poker chips on the table.
Baby Einstein Caterpillar Character Cake
Isn't this the brightest and biggest caterpillar cake? The vanilla cake with lemon buttercream is covered with multi-colored fondant and four of the animal characters (cow, dog, turtle and zebra) accompany the Baby Einstein caterpillar. The large display is finished off with a scattering of sugar flowers and butterflies, all totally edible!
Champagne and Cocktails Cake 9/9/09
Our Birthday Girl wanted to celebrate a very special date 9/9/09 in high flying fashion with a champagne and cocktail theme. The two tiered cake had pure white cake with vanilla bean buttercream on the bottom tier and red velvet and cream cheese on the top tier. We made Apple Martini, Cosmopolitan and Blue Hawaii cocktails, and of course the bubbly pink champagne!

A birthday cake for a dancer and Playboy bunny fan delivered to Newark NJ. The bottom tier was walnut cake and dulce de leche buttercream with Playboy bunnies cut out of black fondant. The second tier was vanilla cake with praline buttercream filling and dancing silhouettes on a white fondant. Each tier had silver and black fondant mosaic ribbon and then on top we placed a silver disco ball and black shooting stars!
Orange Musical Note Cake with Tigerlillies
An 80th Birthday calls for a special cake, which we delivered to Little Quiapo Restaurant in Jersey City NJ. Two tiers of chocolate fudge cake and chocolate mousse filling are covered in a light orange fondant. The cake has small sugar pearls around the base of each tier, fondant musical symbols adorn the sides and then an array of hanging clefs and notes with golden beads top the display.

For a bridal shower in Madison NJ the family requested a summertime cake based on the brides' interests, including a seashell collection and her favorite flip flops. The lower tier was a chocolate fudge cake with mint cream filling, while the top tier was vanilla cake with a passion fruit buttercream.

Playing Cards, Gambling Chips and Dice Cake
Our customer wanted a cake for her parents' 60th Wedding Anniversary party in Springfield NJ, that would play on the theme of their frequent trips Atlantic City. This two tier vanilla cake had a chocolate ganache filling and the fondant colors reflected the black, white and red from a set of playing cards. Decorations included silver chocolate coins, gambling chips, colored roulette balls and cut out shapes from the card suits. We finally added several personal requests, such as sugar paste figurines of the three grandchildren and even a set of eyeglasses!
Under the Sea with Baby and me Cake
We delivered this mermaid cake to Warren NJ for a baby shower. The lower tier is a vanilla cake with orange chocolate buttercream filling. The second tier is a red velvet cake with cream cheese filling. Sugar paste decorations include fishes, coral, starfish, seaweed and not forgetting a treasure chest. Our pretty mermaid is happily pregnant!

What other than a set of Tiffany Gift boxes for an engagement party cake in Summit NJ? The two boxes in Tiffany Blue fondant are tied with white fondant ribbons and each is decorated with a silver brooch made of dragees. One tier is chocolate fudge cake with amaretto moccha buttercream and the other tier has an orange chocolate filling.

We were asked to create a black S-type Jaguar automobile cake for a 50th birthday party at the Grand Summit Hotel in Summit NJ. The vanilla cake has a filling of white chocolate ganache and fresh strawberries. All the parts and accessories on the car are cut to scale with black, gold and silver fondant. The license plate was personalized.
Louis Vuitton Speedy 25 Handbag Cake
We got to visit the very trendy W Hotel in Hoboken NJ to deliver this Louis Vuitton handbag cake, which is a detailed replica of a Speedy 25 model in Monogram Canvas. We cut all the handles and trimmings to look like the real cowhide leather, but of course all edible. The alternating chocolate and vanilla cake layers were filled with Madagascar vanilla bean buttercream and chocolate mousse. The birthday party was held in the Chandelier Room.
Thomas and Friends Birthday Cake
We had a lot of fun making this Thomas the Tank Engine cake for a birthday party in Livingston NJ. The two tiers were both vanilla cake with strawberry buttercream filling, covered in a sky blue fondant. A railway track goes around each tier, trees and clouds also decorate the cake. Thomas, James, Percy, and Duncan ride the rails, while Mr. Topham Hatt watches over the four train friends.
1980s Graffiti Cake with Boom-Box
A 1980s theme birthday party called for a personalized Graffiti cake. The red velvet cake has strawberry cream and vanilla buttercream filling. The red fondant is embossed to look like a brick wall, it is then sprayed with many different colors, we left the spray cans as accessories. The cake is topped with a pair of glasses (you can see through the isomalt lenses), a boom-box and we later added a golden chain!
Cookie Monster Birthday Cake
A fun cake with three multi-colored building blocks, the birthday boy's initials and an edible picture frame with his photo! Each block has a different combination of cake and filling. The Cookie Monster is bursting out of the top block to surprise the guests at the party in Cedar Knolls NJ.

I designed a three-tier topsy turvy cake with a pink and white theme for a birthday party in South Orange NJ. One tier is almond walnut cake with homemade dulce de leche buttercream and the other tiers are chocolate fudge cake with oreo cream filling. Tiny pink flowers, fondant ribbons and a little bow decorate the sides of this cake. On top are three pink lotus sugar flowers.
Juicy Couture Handbag Cake
This Juicy Couture handbag cake was created for a Sweet Sixteen party at the Regency House Hotel in Pompton Plains NJ. The handbag is made with walnut almond cake and homemade dulce de leche buttercream. It is covered in a pink fondant and decorated with pink and chocolate fondant bows and assorted hanging charms, plus a personalized key chain. The bag is placed on a quilted pink cushion made with red velvet cake and white chocolate ganache filling.

This two tier square cake was decorated with a piped staff and a selection of fondant cutout notes. The bottom tier is vanilla cake with dulce de leche buttercream, the top tier is chocolate fudge cake with Madagascar vanilla bean buttercream. Larger black and silver musical notes shoot out the top of this ivory colored cake. We delivered the cake to Alessio Restaurant in Metuchen NJ for a 50th birthday party.

A black and red Louboutin shoe tops off this striking two tier cake for a twenty first birthday. The first tier was a chocolate fudge and vanilla cake with raspberry jam and Madagascar vanilla bean buttercream, a zebra print fondant decorated the outside. The second tier was red velvet cake and cream cheese filling, covered in fondant with a leopard print design.
Avengers Comic Book Hero Cake
A comic book birthday cake featuring our customer's favorite Avenger super heroes: Captain America, Ironman and the Incredible Hulk! Two tiers of red velvet cake and cream cheese filling are covered in bright red and blue fondant. Captain America's shield decorates one tier, and edible images of comic covers adorn the cake. Not forgetting the assortment of comic bubbles that our customer requested: Biff! Bam! Pow! what a cake!
Paradise Beach Cake
For a bridal shower in Queens NY we created a paradise cake. The couple are planning to spend their honeymoon in tropical Belize! A large red velvet cake with white chocolate buttercream is covered in sea blue and sand colored fondant. I crafted several padded lounge chairs, a beach hut and a table with two Piña Colada cocktails, not forgetting a straw and a slice of fruit! A small palm tree gives some shade from the sun shining down on the chairs. There are also edible sea sugar shells decorating the sides of the cake.
Yo Gabba Gabba! Cake and Cupcakes
The latest young kids craze is the Yo Gabba Gabba! TV show. For a second birthday party in Bergen County I made a vanilla cake with chocolate pudding filling, covered in a light green fondant. I modeled the five main characters out of sugar paste and added a birthday message. An assortment of two dozen matching chocolate and vanilla flavor cupcakes with vanilla buttercream swirls, decorated with colored polka dots and sugar flowers complete the display.
UFC Cake
What better for a fan of the Ultimate Fighting Championship than a UFC ring cake? This octagonal ring is made with layers of vanilla and chocolate fudge cake, plus a delicious cannoli filling. The cake is covered in a light gray fondant, with a mesh ring surround. Additional decorations include a pair of boxing gloves, a UFC champions belt and the sponsors logos. The cake was delivered to the birthday party in Fairfield NJ.
